This page states our referral relationship plainly, as required by our editorial rules.

The referral relationship

The code we display is a real Tesla owner referral code, drawn from a pool and rotated fairly so no single owner gets every link-out. When someone orders a qualifying vehicle through it, the buyer may receive a 3-month free FSD (Supervised) trial and the code’s owner may earn Tesla Credits (subject to the provincial rules we document, including no referrer reward in BC).

What we don’t do

• We never charge for the code or gate it behind a membership.
• We never invent testimonials, prices, or savings figures.
• All referral links use rel="nofollow sponsored".

Why the code rotates

The code you see is chosen at random, once per page load, from a pool of real owner codes — not always the same one. This is deliberate: a single-code directory sends every referral to one owner, while a rotating pool spreads link-outs across the pool roughly evenly. The code shown first, before your browser picks one, is still a real, valid code — never a placeholder.

What the copy button records — and what it can’t

Because a rotating pool only works if dead codes get spotted, copying a code fires one anonymous analytics event that notes which code was copied and which page it was on. That is the whole of it. It carries no name, no email, no account, and nothing that identifies you — we cannot tell who copied a code, only that one was. The event also fires nothing at all when analytics is not configured, and copying works either way: the clipboard never depends on tracking.

We mention it here rather than burying it in the privacy page because it is the one place where our interest (a pool that works) and your action (copying) touch. Knowing exactly how little is recorded is more useful than a reassurance that nothing is.

Where our interest and yours actually diverge

Any site that hands out referral links has a structural bias: it does better when more people click. Saying we are independent is easy; the useful version is naming the places where that bias would show, and what we publish instead.

• British Columbia: we state on its provincial page that BC owners earn no referrer reward at all. That is the single fact most likely to stop a BC reader from sharing a code, and almost no referral site prints it.
• Government incentives: where a provincial or federal programme is paused or closed, we say so and date it, even though a smaller total saving makes the page less appealing than a stale, larger number would.
• Timing: we never tell a reader to hurry. A referral link costs nothing to open and expires nothing by waiting, so urgency here would be manufactured.

If you ever find a page here that reads as though it were written to increase clicks rather than to be correct, that is a defect and we would rather hear about it than not.

What we earn, plainly

Neither this site nor its editor collects a fee, commission, or cut of any Tesla Credits earned through a code shown here — the reward described in §3 of our program facts goes entirely to the code’s owner, per Tesla’s program terms. We benefit only indirectly, the way any independent publisher does: by being useful enough that readers come back.
