Tesla Referral Code for Canada (2026)
The referral perk — three months of free FSD (Supervised) — is identical across Canada. What changes is the referrer reward and the EV rebate that stacks on top. So we start where you do: pick your province.

Province-specific rules — what changes where you live
The buyer always gets the same 3-month FSD (Supervised) trial. What genuinely differs is the referrer reward and the government rebate the purchase can stack with — and that difference is the whole reason this site is organized by province.
| Province | Buyer: 3-mo FSD trial | Referrer reward | C$20 demo-drive credit | Provincial EV rebate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Québec | Yes | Up to C$325 / C$650 | Not available in QC | Roulez vert ≤ $2,000 (ends 2026) |
| British Columbia | Yes | No referrer benefit in BC | No referrer benefit | CleanBC (income-tested) |
| Ontario | Yes | Up to C$325 / C$650 | C$20 | No provincial rebate |
| Rest of Canada | Yes | Up to C$325 / C$650 | C$20 (outside QC) | Varies — check your province |
Referrer reward is up to C$325 in Tesla Credits per qualifying vehicle referral, rising to C$650 if the buyer adds FSD (Supervised). Re-verify the annual cap and BC/QC rules on tesla.com/en_ca before relying on them.
British Columbia: no referrer reward
BC residents earn no referrer benefit at all — no Tesla Credits for vehicle referrals or demo drives. Buyers in BC still get the full 3-month FSD trial.
Québec: Roulez vert stacks, but no C$20 credit
Québec buyers can stack the referral with Roulez vert (up to $2,000 in 2026, ending Dec 31 2026) — but the C$20 FSD demo-drive credit is not available in Québec.
Québec · British Columbia · Ontario · Rest of Canada
Rewards for the referrer (Canada)
Referrer benefits are capped per calendar year (commonly cited as 10 referrals) — re-verify the current cap on tesla.com/en_ca before relying on it.
The federal picture — same code, coast to coast
Underneath the provincial differences, the referral itself is federal-flat: a 3-month free trial of Full Self-Driving (Supervised) — not a cash discount. Older claims like a “$1,300 discount” or “Model S/X/Y qualify” are out of date. The government layer that applies nationwide is the federal EVAP (up to $5,000, Apr 1 2026 – Mar 31 2031), successor to the closed iZEV.
| Model | Buyer benefit | In referral program? |
|---|---|---|
| Model 3 | 3 months free FSD (Supervised) | Yes |
| Model Y | 3 months free FSD (Supervised) | Yes |
| Cybertruck | 3 months free FSD (Supervised) | Yes |
| Model S | No referral benefit | Removed Mar 2026 |
| Model X | No referral benefit | Removed Mar 2026 |
| Solar / Solar Roof | Not sold to consumers in Canada | No Canadian solar referral |
Bottom line
Ordering a Model 3, Model Y or Cybertruck? A referral hands you three months of FSD (Supervised) for free — anywhere in Canada. Ordering an S or X? There is no referral benefit — don’t pay anyone who claims otherwise.

A referral link (ts.la/<code>) is just the owner’s code wrapped in a URL; opening it pre-applies the code. Copy the code and type it, or tap the link — both routes lead to the identical 3-month FSD trial.
