A Québec Cybertruck Delivery With a Tesla Referral Code, Worked Example

Two benefits confirmed, two to verify: here's the honest stack for a 2026 Québec Cybertruck order.

The order: a Cybertruck, Québec, September 2026

A buyer in Québec opens a friend’s referral link before configuring a Cybertruck in September 2026, then takes delivery a few months later. Cybertruck is one of the three referral-eligible models, so the buyer side of this order works exactly like a Model 3 or Model Y order would — it’s the Québec-specific stacking on top of it that makes this example worth walking through in full.

What the buyer gets at delivery

The 3-month FSD (Supervised) trial activates automatically once the Cybertruck is delivered — the same delivery-day mechanic as any other eligible model, anywhere in Canada. There is no Québec-specific change on this side of the referral.

What the referrer gets — and the one thing Québec excludes

The friend who shared the code still earns up to C$325 in Tesla Credits, or C$650 if this buyer adds FSD (Supervised) outright — that reward is unaffected by province. What Québec does exclude is the separate C$20 credit for referring someone new to Tesla to an FSD demo drive; that particular credit simply is not available there, regardless of the vehicle.

Stacking Roulez vert on top — with a real caveat

Québec’s Roulez vert program pays up to $2,000 toward a new eligible EV in 2026, down from $4,000 in 2025, and is scheduled to end December 31, 2026. We have confirmed a 2026 Model 3 Premium RWD qualified for the full $2,000 — we have not separately confirmed Cybertruck’s eligibility or trim-level amount under Roulez vert, and we are not going to assume it carries over. Confirm this specific truck’s eligibility directly against Québec’s own program page before counting on it.

Stacking the federal EVAP too

The federal EV Affordability Program pays up to $5,000 for an eligible BEV, through a final-transaction-value cap, for purchases eligible from February 16, 2026 onward (funding permitting, program running to March 31, 2031). A Cybertruck’s configured price is the detail to check here: EVAP’s cap is based on the final transaction value, so a higher-trim build could land outside the cap even if the base model would otherwise qualify. Confirm your specific build’s price against the current cap before assuming the full $5,000 applies.

Putting it together, honestly

Two pieces of this stack are certain for this order regardless of trim or price: the buyer’s 3-month FSD (Supervised) trial, and the referrer’s up-to-C$325/C$650 in Tesla Credits (minus the QC-excluded demo-drive credit). Two more pieces — Roulez vert and EVAP — depend on this specific Cybertruck build clearing each program’s own eligibility and price caps, which we have flagged rather than guessed at. That is the honest shape of this stack: two confirmed benefits, two to verify before delivery.

How this compares to the Ontario and BC worked examples

Swap the province and model in our Ontario Model Y example and the buyer’s FSD trial doesn’t move — it’s identical everywhere. What moves is the referrer’s outcome (full reward in Ontario and here in Québec, zero in BC) and the government layer on top (federal EVAP everywhere, provincial Roulez vert only in Québec, and only once this Cybertruck’s own eligibility is confirmed).
